Topp 5 manliga favoriter i Harry Potter

"'Professor Severus Snape, master of this school, commands you to yield the information you conceal!' Snape said, hitting the map with his wand.
As though an invisible hand was writing upon it, words appeared on the smooth surface of the map.
'Mr Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally larg nose out of other people's business.'
Snape froze. Harry stared, dumbstruck, at the message. But the map didn't stop there. More writing was appearing behind the first.
'Mr Prongs agrees with Mr Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git.'
It would have been very funny if the situation hadn't been so serious. And there was more...
'Mr Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that every became a Professor.'
Harry closed his eyes in horror."

- "Snape's Grudge" ur "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"

"'Did you like question ten Moony?' asked Sirius as the emerged into the entrance hall.
'Loved it,' said Lupin briskly. '"Give the five signs that identify the werewolf." Excellent question.'
'D' you think you managed to get all the signs?' said James in tones of mock concern.
'Think I did,' said Lupin seriously.
"One: He's sitting on my chair. Two: He's wearing my clothes. Three: His name's Remus Lupin..."

- "Snape's Worst Memory" ur "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

"'SIRIUS!' he bellowed. 'SIRIUS!'
'He can't come back, Harry.' said Lupin, his voice breaking as he struggled to contain Harry. 'He can't come back, because he's d-'
'HE - IS - NOT - DEAD!' roared Harry. 'SIRIUS!'
.....
'Here,' said Lupin quietly, and pointing his wand at Neville's legs he said 'Finite'. The spell lifted. Neville's legs fell back to the floor and remained still. Lupin's face was pale. 'Let's - let's find the others. Where are they all, Neville?'
Lupin turned away from the archway as he spoke. It sounded as though every word was causing him pain."

- "The Only One He Ever Feared" ur "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

"'Ron,' said Hermione in a dignified voice, dipping the point of her quill into her ink pot, 'you are the most insensitive wart I have ever had the misfortune to meet.'"

- "The Eye of the Snake" ur "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

"'You two,' she went on, gazing down at Fred and George , 'are about to learn what happens to wrong-doers in my school.'
'You know what?' said Fred. 'I don't think we are.'
He turned to his twin.
'George,' said Fred, 'I think we've outgrown full-time education.'
'Yeah, I've been feeling that way myself,' said George lightly.
'Time to test our talents in the real world, d' you reckon?' asked Fred.
'Definitely,' said George.
And before Umbridge could say a word, they raised their wands and said together: 'Accio brooms!'"

- "Careers Advice" ur "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

"There was a scuffling and a great thump: someone else had clambered out of the tunnel, overbalanced slightly and fallen. He pulled himself up on the nearest chair, looked around through lopsided horn-rimmed glasses and said, 'Am I too late? Has it started? I only just found out, so I-I-'
Percy spluttered into silence. Evidently he had not expected to run into most of his family.
[...]
Percy and the other Weasleys were sill staring at one another, frozen.
[...]
'I was a fool!' Percy roared, so loudly that Lupin nearly dropped his photograph. 'I was an idiot, I was a pompous prat, I was a - a -'
'Ministry-loving, family-disowning, power-hungry moron,' said Fred.
Percy swallowed.
'Yes, I was!'
'Well, you can't say fairer than that,' said Fred, holding out his hand to Percy."

- "The Sacking of Severus Snape" ur "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"

"Harry could not see Fred's body, because his family surrounded him. George was kneeling at his head; Mrs Weasley was lying across Fred's chest, her body shaking, Mr Weasley stroking her hair while tears cascaded down his cheeks.
Without a word to Harry, Ron and Hermione walked away. Harry saw Hermione approach Ginny, whose face was swollen and blotchy, and hug her. Ron joined Bill, Fleur and Percy, who flung an arm around Ron's shoulders."

- "The Prince's Tale" ur "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"

Professor Severus Snape.

"Snape's eyes were boring into Harry's. It was exactly like trying to stare down a hippogriff. Harry tried hard not to blink."

"'You have no idea of the remorse Professor Snape felt when he realised how Lord Voldemort had interpreted the prophecy, Harry. I believe it to be the greatest regret of his life and the reason that he returned -'
'But he's a very good Occlumens, isn't he, sir?' said Harry, whose voice was shaking with the effort of keeping it steady. 'And isn't Voldemort convinced that Snape's on his side, even now? Professor ... how can you be sure Snape's on our side?'
Dumbledore did not speak for a moment; he looked as though he was trying to make up his mind about something. At last he said, 'I am sure. I trust Severus Snape completely.'
"

- "The Seer Overheard" ur "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"

"After a moment or two, Snape raised his face, and he looked like a man who hade lived a hundred of years in misery since leaving the wild hilltop.
'I thought... you were going... to keep her... safe...'
' She and James put their faith in the wrong person,' said Dumbledore. 'Rather like you, Severus. Weren't you hoping that Lord Voldemort would spare her?'
Snape's breathing was shallow.
'Her boy survives,' said Dumbledore.
With a tiny jerk of the head, Snape seemed to flick off an irksome fly.
'Her son lives. He has her eyes, precisely her eyes. You remember the shape and colour of Lily Evans's eyes, I am sure?'
'DON'T!' bellowed Snape. 'Gone... Dead...'
'Is this remorse, Severus?'
'I wish... I wish I were dead...'"

- "The Prince's Tale" ur "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Professor Albus Dumbledore. The Great One.

"'It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that.'"

"The truth is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution."

"It is our choices Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."

"At that moment, Harry fully understood for the first time why people said Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort had ever feared. The look upon Dumbledore's face as he stared down at the unconscious form of Mad-Eye Moody was more terrible than Harry could have ever imagined. There was no benign smile upon Dumbledore's face, no twinkle in the eyes behind the spectacles. There was cold fury in every line of the ancient face; a sense of power radiated from Dumbledore as though he were giving off burning heat."

- "Veritaserum" ur "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"

"'You do not seek to kill me, Dumbledore?' called Voldemort, his scarlet eyes narrowed over the top of the shield. 'Above such brutality, are you?'
'We both know there are other ways of destroying a man, Tom.' Dumbledore said calmly. 'Merely taking your life would not satisfy me, I admit – '
'There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!' snarled Voldemort.
'You are quite wrong,' said Dumbledore, still closing in upon Voldemort and speaking as lightly as though they were discussing the matter over drinks. Harry felt scared to see him walking along, undefended, shieldless. He wanted to cry out a warning, but his headless guard kept shunting him backward toward the wall, blocking his every attempt to get out from behind it. 'Indeed your failure to understand that there are things much worse than death has always been your greatest weakness –'"

- "The Only One He Ever Feared" ur "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

Neville Longbottom. Än en gång, Nevilles "I join you when hell freezes over!" är bland det bästa i DH.

"'There are all kinds of courage,' said Dumbledore, smiling. 'It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends. I therefore award ten points to Mr Neville Longbottom.'"

- "The Man With Two Faces" ur "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"

"'Again?' said Mrs. Longbottom, sounding slightly weary. 'Very well, Alice dear, very well – Neville, take it, whatever it is…'
But Neville had already stretched out his hand, into which his mother dropped an empty Droobles Blowing Gum wrapper.
'Very nice, dear,' said Neville's grandmother in a falsely cheery voice, patting his mother on the shoulder. But Neville said quietly, 'Thanks, Mum.'
"

- "Christmas on the Closed Ward" ur "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

"'...But we were still fighting, doing underground stuff, right up until a couple of weeks ago. That's when they decided there was only one way to stop me, I suppose, and they went for Gran.'
'They what?' said Harry, Ron and Hermione together.
.....
'Gran's on the run. She sent me a letter.' he clapped a hand on the breast pocket of his robes, 'telling me she was proud of me, that I'm my parents' son, and to keep it up.'
'Cool,' said Ron.
'Yeah.' said Neville happily. 'Only thing was, once they realised they had no hold over me, they decided Hogwarts could do without me after all. I don't know wheter they were planning to kill me or send me to Azkaban. either way, I knew it was time to disappear.'"

- "The Lost Diadem" ur "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"
